The Wire Mesh Fabrications Story, so far…
Built on more than four decades of experience, Wire Mesh Fabrications developed a strong reputation as a leading manufacturer of bespoke wire products from welded mesh panels, framed meshes for balustrade and handrails, to wire trays and mesh baskets for food, medical and other industrial applications to name but a few.
With a strong belief that everyone should have what they want, not just what will do, we always aim to make bespoke feel like the norm, so we’re confident that we can turn your ideas into reality.
In 2025, Wire Mesh Fabrications became part of Craven & Co., This marked an important new chapter for the business, bringing together two established British manufacturing businesses, each with their own histories, experience and technical knowledge.
Craven & Co. itself has a long standing history of British manufacturing with roots dating back to 1958. Today the company operates from its purpose-built manufacturing facility in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, with established expertise in wire-based manufacturing, shelving systems and material handling.
Ultimately, our history is something we are incredibly proud of, but it is also the foundation of what comes next. And today, while the business of Wire Mesh Fabrications has evolved, the fundamental principles remain the same.
The knowledge, experience and manufacturing heritage built over more than four decades, now continues within Craven & Co.
